This week, we learned our first sound – ‘a’. We learned a little song, with actions, to help us remember the sound the letter makes. We thought of lots of ‘a’ words and identified where the ‘a’ was in the word. We have been practising our formation in various ways. We thought the cream was lots of fun!

This week we also,

E – “learned about number 9.”

A – “I got a certificate for doing really well with my numbers.”

P – “tried our number 9’s on the ground with chalk.”

C – “did French, your feelings, if you are okay.”

H – “learned new words in another country like bonjour.”

A – “learned our ‘a’.”

On Thursday 10th October, we will be hosting our Parents’ Evening. I am looking forward to speaking with you about your child’s progress.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Miss Mulreany and Room 2 🙂
