Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Our busy week! 👽🚂

Room 3 have had a super week learning all about the theme of space. On Monday, we enjoyed reading the story ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ and found this story very funny. Following a chat about the book, we designed our own aliens. We were very proud of these.

We have also been working hard on our number work this week. We have been learning about the number 4 and the number 5. We practised these number formations using ‘I Spy’, playdoh, jotter work and games. We discussed how to order numbers 0-5 from smallest to largest and largest to smallest too. Here is our new favourite way of practising our numbers, using whiteboard pens to do desk writing.

As part of our play this week. many of us loved building different vehicles using Lego. Some of us worked as a team to make a moving train which could transport cars. Have a look at our fantastic build!
