Hello everyone and welcome to our blog.

We have had a fantastic first week together.

Our blog posts are written by the learners in Room 15.

RM – We have been predicting what we think will happen in our new class novel The Iron Man.

IM – We have been visualising what the Iron Man looks like using the adjectives and descriptions from the book.

MA – We have been learning about nouns and adjectives.

HI – A noun is a naming word like rollercoaster or Evie.

MB – we even talked about similes!

TT – We have started Fun 31. We have been crafting and building our creations using junk.

CB – We created a monochrome self portrait.

SA – We went to the library and chose new reading books to enjoy during our DEAR time.

 

This year our P.E. days are Tuesdays (outdoor P.E.) and Thursdays (indoor P.E.)

We are looking forward to welcoming lots of our adults to our Meet the Teacher event next Thursday (29th August). We will have two sessions – 3:20 until 4pm and 4:20 until 5pm. The slideshow presentation will also be posted on our Google Classroom at the end of next week.
