It has been a very busy first week back of 2025! Here is a snapshot of some of the work we have been doing.

– In Maths and Numeracy we have begun looking at different strategies for division such as using arrays and chunking. We have also started looking at angles, we directed our friends round a course blind folded, and spoke about how we could best describe the turns to our peers. We then measured and identified the names of the angles on the course.

– In Literacy we have started a block of studying non-fiction text. This has lead on nicely to our information report writing where we learnt how to paraphrase text.

– We worked in pairs creating landscapes using cardboard in wool. We focused on shape, colour and texture.
