This week we have a double blog update, we hope you enjoy!

This week we have been practising for our Christmas show. We have been learning actions for our songs. We have been practising our songs each day our songs are super. We have been learning Makaton for our songs because we want to be inclusive for everyone. We have been practising on the stage and the teacher is going to the back of the hall so we speak and sing in our loudest voices for everyone coming. We all have lines to say and are trying to learn them off by heart.

We have also been learning about simple jumps and dodging in dodgeball. We played cross the river to practise our new skills and then played matches, it was very fun.

First, we are going to tell you all about our Christmas show.

We are going to tell you the songs we sang.  Our first song was Santa’s Little Helpers. We also sang Wrap and Stack, Merry Christmas everyone and A Christmas Quarrel.

In numeracy we have been focusing on subtraction and have been learning how to double exchange. It when you have to borrow from 2 numbers.
