We have had a great time celebrating Book Week Scotland in Room 27 with all things reading!

We loved having adults in on Thursday morning to read with us and enjoyed a visit from a very special guest on Friday for ‘Mystery Reader’. It was so exciting to think about who our reader might be – nobody guessed it would be Miss Campbell!

On Friday afternoon we welcomed Room 26 to our class to take part in a ‘Book Swap Cafe’. We loved sharing our favourite books and may even have found some new favourites of our own – thank you Room 26 for the recommendations!

Here are some photos from our family reading session on Thursday:

Here are some of our highlights from this week:

LW “I liked it when our families got to come in and read with us.”

KE “I enjoyed when we did ‘Mystery Reader’.”

MN “I liked writing about our favourite book for the ‘Book Swap'”

AR “I loved doing our last information report about rainforest animals.”

KH “I liked adding 3 digit numbers to 4 digit numbers.”

OB “I enjoyed ICT this week where we used the maps to locate the rainforests.”

SM “I liked when we read ‘The BFG’ with Miss Campbell and drew pictures.”

JD “I liked using the Chromebooks to write my information report.”

Thank you for reading our blog. We hope you have a nice weekend.
