This week, we have been celebrating all things reading and books during Book Week Scotland.

On Monday, lots of our parents and families came in to visit us and see us receive our Primary 1 Bookbug bags. They completed some reading and activities with us. Thank you for taking time out of your day to spend it with us. On Tuesday, we had a visit from the reading ambassadors. The girls read us ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and then demonstrated a draw along for us to draw our own caterpillars. We added fun details to our caterpillars such as hats and clothes. Today we had a ‘Mystery Reader’ come to see us. It was Miss McIver. She read us not just one but three books! One was very funny and has been left for Miss Mulreany to read to us another day. It has been a great week.
