Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Book Week 📚

Room 3 have had a fantastic week celebrating all things books. On Monday afternoon, we enjoyed welcoming family members in to share our surprise book bags with them. We had fun exploring the activities found in our bags and reading some lovely stories together. Thank you to all the adults that attended, it was a great afternoon.

Today we were very lucky to have a mystery reader visit our class. Mrs Norton came along and read some books with us before helping us to complete an arty task. The books were so good and we enjoyed our time with her. In the afternoon we had even more visitors. P5 and Miss Tighe came down to do some paired reading with us. We enjoyed listening to the stories our buddies had brought and discussing what happened in these books.
