Room 9 Art

For our Blog we  have decided to tell everyone  about the different ways we have been doing art in class this week.

Firstly we created a picture using a Chromebook rather than drawing on paper. The program we used was called Adobe Express. It was very challenging because we had to use different skills like listening and concentrating. We also learned new phrases like canvas, pixel brush size and droplet tools. Here are some pictures of what we created.

Can you guess what we made? Yes it was The Sphinx from our Ancient Egyptian topic.

On Tuesday we got to do art again but this time we used paper. After learning about leaves we created Autumn pictures. Firstly we used a template to draw our leaves and make them the same size. Then we used a ruler to draw the veins. After that we had to cut the leaves out and stick the different parts onto black paper.

As you can see from our pictures, the black background shows the veins of each leaf.
