Halloween Fun in Room 2!

Room 2 celebrated all things Halloween on Thursday. The children came to school dressed up in fantastic Halloween themed costumes and outfits. They all looked amazing! We had a little parade to music in our classroom to show our outfits off to our friends.

We then created little hanging pumpkins that we could pop in our windows for all the trick or treat people to see. Some of us added googly eyes to make them more fun.

In the afternoon, we had a Halloween celebration in the hall with Rooms 1 and 3. We danced with our friends and teachers and played games like corners and musical statues. We finished off our party with a little sweet treat. Just before home, we enjoyed watching the ‘Room on the Broom’ animation, as we had only read the book last week in class. It featured lots of rhyming words and we could hear them whilst watching.

Home learning packs have been sent home today so please check school bags. If you have any queries or concerns, please do get in touch. Primary 1 Evening Times class photographs will be featured between Nov 4th-8th. Keep an eye out for our smiles in the newspaper! 🙂
