It has been another successful and busy week in Room 9. We have been working on the Skills Framework and linking it to everything we do in class. The framework is up on our wall and there are 4 main areas that we look at, Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Effective Contributors and Responsible Citizens. We have a special action for each one so you can ask us to show you when we are at home. Our favourite one is for Successful Learners because we make our bodies into the shape of a star.

To celebrate our use of the Skills Framework, Mr Allen gives out a certificate for each area every week. Successful Learners are pupils who have been doing well with Literacy, Numeracy, Health and Wellbeing and ICT. Confident Individuals are able to show good communication skills and can adapt to different situations. Effective Contributors are pupils who work well in a group or with their partner. Responsible Citizens are very good at helping around the class and looking after others.
