Things got messy this week!
Room 17 worked together in groups to create a junk model flying machine inspired by illustrations in our novel ‘Journey’. Each model had something different and unique. The children showed that they are effective contributors by developing their innovation skills through curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving.

This week we also developed our Numeracy skills by rounding whole numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000.

We also finished our class reading for enjoyment book – ‘The Book That No One Wanted To Read’. We loved it!
