P7 Trip to Amazonia and Cosmic Bowl

Yesterday, a group of Primary 7s spent the day at Amazonia and Cosmic Bowl. We had a tour around Amazonia where we saw monkeys, snakes, parrots, armadillos and so much more. One of our favourite parts was watching ants carrying leaves and twigs over a rope. We then got to find out more about some animals during our handling session. Some of us were very brave and held a Giant African Snail, some held or stroked Eva, the Royal Python and lots of us held Gordon the leopard gecko who is actually a girl. Even Mrs Webber was brave enough to hold Gordon!

After Amazonia, we went to Cosmic Bowl where we enjoyed some ten pin bowling and some yummy lunch.

We had the best day and can’t wait to update you on what we’ve been up to today!
