Room 2 have been learning all about the number ‘1’ this week. We read a little story about penguin one, met Numberblocks ‘1’ and learned the accurate formation of the number. We used Play-Doh, sand, whiteboards/pens and peg boards to practise our formation. We then tried writing some number 1’s in our new Numeracy jotters.

Here are some of the other fun things that we have enjoyed doing this week,

JN – I liked playing with the Lego. I have built towers.

CJ – Playing with Lego.

IMcL – I liked playing with the blocks.

AMcC – I liked doing jigsaw puzzles.

AG – I like playing in the story area.

ER – I liked playing with the orange things in the construction area.

EB – We learned number one.
