My class have been reading (and loving!) the book, The Bone Sparrow by Zana Fraillon. Here are some examples of a setting project in which pupils created examples of the refugee detention centre. If you haven’t read the book, we strongly recommend it!
We thoroughly enjoyed the launch of War Horse at the SEC Glasgow! It was so impressive to learn about the incredible creation of this production especially the massive horse puppet, music and sound!

The day was full of suspense and excitement as pupils and staff anxiously waited to hear the announcement to drop everything and read! It was so lovely to see the whole school enjoying the wonderful world of reading! We look forward to next term with more secret D.E.A.R events!
