Homework

Completing classwork is only a portion of your success in the senior phase. Homework must be completed regularly and with diligence. In English, homework is provided in many forms. We recommend that pupils read good quality journalism weekly to further their skills in understanding, analysis and evaluation. In addition, teachers will set homework on:

-Texts studied in class

-RUAE skills

-Scottish Set Text work

-Research for discursive writing for folio

Furthermore, pupils should take responsibility for their own progress by regularly revising class work, reading challenging fiction and working on past papers. We also distribute revision packs and offer supported study sessions and Spring Break courses the time of the exam.
