Computing Science enables young people to become informed, independent, imaginative and creative users of technologies in the digital society of today – and to perhaps become the developers of the software and technologies of the future!
The broad-based course provides a basis for greater specialisation in Software Design (including programming).
Computing Science is often studied in conjunction with Sciences, Mathematics, areas of Law and Medicine, Finance, Sport, Industry, Language and the Arts.
The Employability Skills developed in Computing Science include Computational Thinking, Problem Solving, analysis and evaluation, Number Processing, Literacy Skills, Digital Literacy and Team Building.
