There have been a number of events since the last post ranging from Football, Maths Challenges and Active girls’ day. The overall scores are: In first place is Merrick with 40 points In second place is Lomond and Pentland with 31 points In third place is Cairngorm with 28 points In 4th place is Nevis with 23 points In 5th place is Jura with 16 points

The S2 pupils took part in their Interhouse Football Event on Friday in the pouring rain. Again, the pupils behaviour and effort was amazing and the results were: In Joint 5th place was Cairngorm and Nevis In 4th place was Jura In 3rd place was Pentland In 2nd place was Lomond And in 1st place was Merrick house
The Interhouse Football events for S1, S3 and S4 have taken place over the last week. The pupils behaviour and attitude was great and everyone had a brilliant time in the sunshine. The current Interhouse scores for all events so far are: 1st Place = Merrick – 19 points 2nd Place = Cairngorm and Pentland – 15 points 3rd Place = Lomond and Nevis – 13 points 4th Place = Jura – 9 points

The sun shone beautifully for our inaugural Hillpark Bike Day in May. To celebrate the official opening of our new secure bike store, our S1 pupils (and eager teachers!) enjoyed an afternoon of bike skills sessions and relays. A lot of fun was had by all. It was our annual International Culture Day yesterday and the pupils had a fabulous time sharing their food, clothes and music with each other and their teachers. Hillpark pupils have family or cultural links to over 50 different countries so the event was diverse and inclusive. Everyone had a great time and we found out so much about each other. Can’t wait until next year!
