On Thursday 29th September Sgoil a’ Bhac will be holding a MacMillan Coffee Morning. We would love it if you came along! It will be held in the school hall at 10.00 am till 11.00 am. We will also be raising money by wearing green for £1; entering a poster competition for £1; Guess Miss MacDonald ‘s favourite cake for £1 and Guess how many spots on the cake for £2.
Please come along with friends and relatives to drink tea and coffee, eat cakes and participate in our events. You can even come along in green if you wish to blend in with the pupils!

The Parent Council AGM will be held on Thursday 15th September at 7.30pm in Back school. All parents are warmly invited to come along and support the work of the Parent Council.

The Parent Council will meet tomorrow evening, Tuesday 30th August, at 7.30pm in Back School. All are welcome to attend.
Rally Hebrides visited the school on Friday 19th August much to the delight of all our pupils. Pupils were able have a close look around the rally car and ask the driver lots of questions.

It has been confirmed today that Mr Macleod has been permanently appointed as Senior Education Officer with the Department of Education and Children’s Services with effect from August 2016. Miss Donna Macdonald will take on the role of Acting Head Teacher of Sgoil a’ Bhac and Tolsta School from 15th August until a new Head Teacher has been appointed.

Each year, the school produces two key documents. The first of these is our Standards and Quality Report (SQR), which we have presented this year in the form of a short booklet for parents to access more easily. Alongside this, we publish our School Improvement Plan (SIP) for the next session. We hope to make our improvement plan more accessible this session by providing a summary poster to accompany the full planning document. All the documents are attached below:
