Mearns Castle High School is embarking on a journey to achieve the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award.
At this moment in time, staff and pupils are raising awareness of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child to create a safe and inspiring place to learn; where pupils are respected, their talents are nurtured and they are able to thrive.
The Rights Respecting Schools Award embeds these values in daily school life and gives children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.
If you require further information on any of the above, please contact us via the school office.
Further to the presentation to all staff in the school and to members of the Parent Council, a copy of the Core Brief has been placed here for your consideration.
