The Equalities Strategy in our school follows four strands:

1. 1. Faith & Culture
   2. Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
   3. Differently-Abled Awareness
   4. Equity

Each of these strands has had an Improvement Team developing various staff training exercises, young people engagements and recognising events and celebrations that recognise that as a school community we have all have many differences and whilst we may not all share the same views, we can develop our understanding of each other, regardless of social and cultural background, our faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or disability.

As John Steinbeck once said:

“Try to understand men. If you understand each other you will be kind to each other. Knowing a man well, never leads to hate and almost always leads to love.“
