The Self-Directed Support Forum have organised an ILF info evening on Wednesday 6th November at 7pm in The Gatehouse, Eastwood Park G46 6UG.
The ILF Scotland Transition Fund provides money, for up to one year, to support young people living with disabilities (as defined in the Equality Act 2010) to improve their lives. This includes autism, learning difficulty, physical disability, mental health (for example anxiety or depression) or hearing or visual impairments.
The purpose of the fund is to help young people, between the ages of 16 and 21 living with disabilities, with the changes they face after leaving school or children’s services to be more independent and to continue spending time with other people.
If you or someone you care for is age 16-21, please come along and find out more about how ILF can help.

S2, S4 and S5 are invited to attend a Developing the Young Workforce evening on 14th November 2019. The evening will run from 6:40pm till 8pm with pupils and parents/guardians being able to attend 3 presentations. Information regarding booking your space will be emailed towards the end of the week. Boys and girls going into S1 – S6 have the opportunity to play Friday League football at Cowan Park.
It’s free and all are welcome.
It starts Friday 22nd June and will run for 10 weeks, 6.30 – 8pm with registration from 6pm.

Dyslexia Scotland Glasgow East Renfrewshire Branch are holding an open meeting on Wednesday 21st February (7.15 – 8.15) in Mearns Castle High School.
