We have created a video to demonstrate some tools you may find useful at the time of Options Choices, both for pupils and for parents/carers.

If you have any problems using My World of Work we will offer lunchtime drop in support sessions on Monday’s from 12.30 till 1pm in room A17, starting on Monday 31 January until Monday 14 March. There is no need to book for this session, just pop along if you are having problems signing up for My World of Work, or using any of the tools on the site.

Subject Choice Event for Parents and Carers – How you can help your Young Person?
We would like to invite you to an event for the parents and carers of S2 pupils (S1 from St. Ninian’s), at: Barrhead Foundry Wednesday 22 January between 5pm and 8pm.

This year’s senior options booklet, ‘The Way Ahead’ is now available for you to view here.
The booklet will provide a comprehensive guide for you and your child to reference over the coming weeks.
The booklet details courses that will be available for S5 and S6 pupils in the next academic year here in Mearns Castle as well as information about the extensive vocational programme that we run in conjunction with our partner colleges. We would encourage pupils to read through the booklet prior to their options interviews and we again extend the invitation for parents to join us at the forthcoming Options Evening here in the School at 7.00pm.
