The National Parent Forum of Scotland has been working with Skills Development Scotland as part of the programme of work underway in Developing the Young Workforce. They have produced some tailored information for parents, as part of the successful “in a nutshell” series, which covers the new Careers Education Standard.

S4/5 pupils have been given information about vocational courses on offer next session during their assemblies. Further information will be given at the Options Information Evening for parents.

A reminder that all S1-3 girls will be receiving the HPV vaccination on Monday 18th January (S2/3 girls will be receiving their second dose at this time). If you are receiving the vaccination, please remember to have breakfast before coming to school and to wear a vest or t-shirt under your school shirt.
West College Scotland are holding a School Vocational Programme Information Evening for pupils and parents on Tuesday 19th January 2016 from 6-8pm.
Further information will be given about vocational courses for 2016/17 at S4 and S5 assemblies next week and the Options Evenings.
