Modern Apprenticeship vacancy – NHS

Please note that applications for the latest Modern Apprenticeship vacancy will go live tomorrow afternoon (Friday 17th July).  We are looking to recruit two apprentice data assistants to work within our Business Intelligence Team based at Westward House in Paisley.    This is an exciting opportunity to join our Health Information & Technology Directorate and to work towards completion of the Diploma for Information Technology and Telecommunications Professionals. 
 
This will be a two year apprenticeship with starting salary of £13, 948. Minimum requirements are: National 5 Maths at Grade A- C (or equivalent) and two National 4 qualifications. 
 
Closing date:  7th August 2015

Scottish Swimming Relay Championships 2015

Our school swimming team had a most successful day on June 18 at the 2015 Scottish Schools Relay Championships.

Of the eleven events our teams participated in both girls and boys were in 7 finals often coming ahead of the Glasgow School of Sport.

Our girls then went on to achieve medals in 3 events.

Medal winners were Kate Saxon S3, Nikki Miller S4, Heather Martin S4, Zoe Cameron S3, Rachel Saxon S6 and Katie Lillie S2.

Well done to all.

Carnegie Book Group

All members of the Carnegie Book Group are invited to the Book Group Party at 12.20pm on Thursday 18 June at 12.40pm.  This will be our last meeting before the holidays and we will celebrate the end of Carnegie in style. Bring your lunch and

The next meeting of the Carnegie Book Group will be on Thursday 11 June at 12.40pm in the library.

It is important that all members attend as this will be the last meeting before the Carnegie Quiz on Friday 12 June.

Details about the arrangements for the quiz will be given at this meeting.

There will be a meeting after school on Thursday 11th June to make sure the presentations are complete.
