If you are under 16 or cannot work on other subjects from home, please see Miss Crosby in order to be accommodated in school during your usual vocational time during W/C 20 December.
South Lanarkshire College are running an on campus open evening for students to find out more about January start courses, on Thursday 25 November from 4pm until 7pm.

All Glasgow Foundation Apprenticeships’ will be online. West College Scotland Foundation Apprenticeships’ will be delivered as usual.
Please note – all students who’s courses are moving online during this period and who are over 16 should work from home during this time.
Those students who are under 16 or cannot work from home should report to Mrs Hamilton or Miss Crosby in Pupil Support.

Now more than ever the environment, agriculture and the rural economy are providing many opportunities for a variety of exciting careers in this growing employment sector, which many young people may now be considering.

We will be holding live virtual open events rather than on campus visits for now, these events allow the pupils to hear directly from the course tutors and lecturers and have any questions answered during the session. You can access future events by visiting www.sruc.ac.uk/opendays
Pupils were able to talk to staff and get lots of information about the many courses available at West college in Paisley.
To support S4, S5 and S6 pupils who are applying to college to start in August the following ICT rooms have been booked. There will be support from Pupil support and Chris the careers advisor to help complete applications.
If you are applying you must register in class first then come prepared with a short personal statement and know the course you are applying for. Applications can also be made at home.
Please note your college classes continue right up until week ending 24th April.
Full attendance is important in order to achieve the full course award.
