POLO DAY

Confident Individuals             Effective Contributors

The Moonbeams have enjoyed their outdoor learning sessions today. They had lots of fun creating potions and recipes in our outdoor kitchen and played well together while on the outdoor apparatus and playground equipment.

The class also enjoyed visiting the Swans and feeding them during our outing to Kay Park on Monday.

POLO Day

As it was POLO ( Power off Learn  Outdoors) day in school, we took part in many Outdoor Learning Activities.

We placed different objects in the water tray to see if they would float or sink!

We had fun drawing shapes and writing names with chalk!

We worked together to build some dens, walls and towers!

POLO Day in the Planets Class!

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

The Planets class thoroughly enjoyed today’s POLO Day (Power Off, Learn Outdoors). We had a teddy bear’s picnic and enjoyed tasting a range of picnic foods including dairylea lunchables, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, finger rolls, frube yoghurts, cheese and grapes.

We also enjoyed a sensory art attack session where we spray painted an old bed sheet. We loved doing this and had lots of fun!

Outdoor Learning

The weather hasn’t been our friend this week but we made the most of any sunshine we had by completing some fun challenges out in our garden.

We were very effective contributors as we each took part in a different challenge.

Here are some of our favourite photos:

POLO Day

POLO day today – Power of Learning Outdoors.

The boys were confident individuals when taking part in all our activities.

We made lovely bespoke shoes from bubble wrap then dipped them in paint and strutted our stuff on the catwalk.

We also used the sticks we collected yesterday and created our initial with sticks.

The painted stones were used to play Xs and Os, then we got a history lesson from Mrs Boyle on how to play peevers.
