Halloween Fun in the Snowdrops
The Snowdrops were successful learners when we celebrated Halloween. We made ghosts using cotton wool, went on a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, enjoyed our parade, had fun carrying out our Halloween sensory activities and had a party with the other primary classes.
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *
The Moonbeams class loved our erupting pumpkin science experiment where we mixed vinegar, fairy liquid, food colouring, glitter and baking soda. It all fizzed inside the pumpkin and it looked as thought the pumpkin was being sick. We had lots of fun!
Spooky Sensory

The Moonbeams class were very brave when exploring the Stars Class’ sensory trays. There were gooey ghost slime, wiggling worms, creepy crawly boxes and pumpkin slime.
Halloween Horror Snacks!

The Moonbeams class had the job of making spooky snacks for the Sungazers and Stars classes today. We made mummy and skeleton cupcakes, pumpkin jelly, white chocolate ghosts and had some ghost and ghoul crisps.

Halloween Fun!
The Sunflowers have had lots of Halloween fun this week. On Wednesday it was the first sensory assembly for some of our boys. There were lots of activities set up in the hall and we moved around them. We made ghosts with hand prints, made sensory bracelets with coloured pasta, dressed up and were dooking for apples. We had pumpkins to carve in the classroom which was fun. On Friday we make our own witches and Miss Hill used toilet paper to make us look like mummies.
Our party is this afternoon keep a look out for another post with photos from that.
The Bluebells have been learning about clean water and sanitation. The pupils enjoyed listening to songs about clean water and were all effective contributors during our water activities. The boys demonstrated their learning of the importance of clean water by choosing pictures of what we use water for.
The Sungazers enjoyed exploring multi-sensory coloured rice while experimenting at science – successful learners.
