School Meals and Support
School Meals Menu Spring-Summer 2024
School meals – Dumfries and Galloway Council (dumgal.gov.uk)
Free school meals and associated payments – Dumfries and Galloway Council (dumgal.gov.uk)
Children in Primaries 1 – 5 automatically qualify for free school meals. Primary 6 & 7 pay a daily fee.
Free School Meals can lead to a large saving each year for parents of eligible pupils as your child may also qualify for a School Clothing Grant and holiday food payments.
You will also be helping your child’s school if you qualify for Free School Meals. Some Scottish Government funding provided directly to schools is linked to the numbers of pupils who are registered as entitled to free school meals.
Please claim if you think you might be eligible even if your child’s school meals are currently free.
Thank you
