Numeracy

Yesterday, we worked on finding half of numbers. How did you work it out? Remember, a half means splitting an object into 2 equal parts. Today, I would like you to use the same resources as yesterday, but this time you are going to try and find a quarter of the numbers below. Can you remember how many equal parts you need to split an object into to find a quarter?

  • 4
  • 8
  • 12
  • 16
  • 20

Discuss your strategies with someone at home. How many equal groups did you split the numbers into?

Reflections

It’s reflection day! Use the template to reflect on your week of learning. Once you have finished your reflections, think about all the things you have learned in the past 3 weeks. Have you noticed progress in your learning? Maybe you are more confident with number work, you have learned a new sound or maybe your handwriting has improved? Think of at least 2 improvements you have made and share this with your family members!
