VE day fun!

I would love to say that I have a talent for cake decoration – as some of our staff do!  I really don’t !!

But I had fun icing these biscuits – and will have even more fun eating them!!

V.E Day Dance Lesson

West Lothian’s V.E. 75 “Dance from Home”Lots of people in West Lothian danced in the street to celebrate V.E. Day. While social distancing makes dancing in the street a bit difficult, we would like you to learn our 1940s style V.E. Day 75 dance. This instructional video provided by Central Scotland Ballet School takes you through the steps. On Friday, we are asking the people of West Lothian to come together and perform a V.E. dance at 8pm. Please share this video with your friends and family and remember to practice before Friday #MuseumFromHome VEDay2020

It’s a special day today. On the 8th of May 75 years ago the Second World War ended. There were lots of celebrations then and today lots of people are remembering and celebrating too. You might want to make your own bunting (a kind of flag) to hang up.
