Calderwood Connects: Information
As our restrictions in school change, we will start to introduce in person assemblies with our children.
On Friday 25th March, we will have a trial so the children can get used to being together in the Arena with some clans.
On Friday 1st April, we will have our first Calderwood Connects all together in the Arena.
The social story below will help your child know what to expect during these sessions, the champions will go through this with them but you may wish to reinforce this at home.

Unfortunately, at this time, we are still unable to invite parents and careers along, we will share on our blog what we have discussed with the children.

As part of our improvements to our children’s mealtime experience we consulted with the children to design and choose their own snack menu. You can see what they chose here:

Big Walk and Wheel
We are now taking part in the Big Walk and Wheel Sustrans event – being active and encouraging active travel everyday!
Please see below information about the Big Walk and Wheel Event Calderwood Primary and Nursery will take part in from 21st March – 1st April.

Some advice from our Parent Council
Many parents have been in touch looking to see what we can do to support and help those in need in Ukraine.
We want to be sensitive with drawing attention to this, with some children whose families would rather not make them aware of what is going on as it would cause distress, however there are still many ways in which families can help.
