Primary One Update

So sorry to be late but here is the entry promised last Friday!  How did that happen?  Primary One pupils presented class talks last week and they were all outstanding.  I was very impressed by the preparation and presentation.  The children seemed to really enjoy the experience which is equally as important as the skills being developed.

Here are some photos from the day.

Last week, we also welcomed a new class member named Benjamin.  He is very welcome in P1 and is settling in well.  It is quite a transition to begin a new school and the children have been very supportive.

Finally, I would like to thank all of the Primary One parents for their ongoing support and thoughtfulness.  It is much appreciated!  The children did an absolutely amazing job in presenting their ‘Bee Assembly’ to the parents.  Well done!

Primary 5

This week we have been very busy…

Highlights this week have been:

  • writing descriptive poems about Spring
  • learning about compass directions in maths
  • attending the basketball festival
  • parent consultations

We had a great time at the basketball festival and played lots of games.  We have improved our basketball skills and will continue to work on these.  We took lots of photos on our shiny new ipads and will try to upload these soon.

Happy Red Nose day!
