Term 1 in Lomond

What an exciting first term we have had in our new school. Everyone has had great fun exploring all the new areas of our school. The garden has been a particular favourite with all the children and they have enjoyed making full use of all the new equipment. Everything is so accessible for all the children. Another favourite of the children has been the multi-sensory room, it’s been a favourite of the staff as well with the ability to either a calming environment or a more interactive space where children can move around frequently to pop bubbles or squash ants!

Have fun looking through some of our photos of us enjoying our new school.

Summer term in Lomond class

We can’t believe that summer is here already! we would like to wish everyone a lovely summer holiday and we are looking forward to seeing everyone for the next big adventure in our lovely new school.

Here are some of the highlights from our term.

Spring term in Lomond class

What great fun we have had this term. We have been lucky to be able to go horse riding and the weather was really kind to us. We have done lots of sensory exploration through water play, messy play and our sensory boxes.  We have let our imaginations shine with some dressing up and some imaginary play with babies and water- what a great combination!

We are looking forward to going on some new adventures next term, hopefully the sun will continue to shine for us and we can spend lots of time outside.

Here are some of our highlights from this term.

Autumn term in Lomond class

We have had a fantastic start to the year in Lomond, everyone has settled in really well and we have been doing lots of fun activities.

We have been very active in the gym hall.
Lots of imaginative play
We had a visit from some very Cool Creatures!

We got very messy during messy play.
We’ve even manage to fit in some play time in the garden!

Have a lovely break everyone and we’ll see you after the holidays.

Term 2 in Pentland Class

We have had lots of fun in Pentland Class this term. We have been thinking about all the different sounds we hear when we are out for a walk as well as all the usual activities like messy play, cooking, communication work and much, much more. Everyone has participated enthusiastically in all the events like Children in need day and world children’s day as well as things like Halloween and Christmas. A highlight of the term has been our weekly horse riding sessions which have seen all the children grow in confidence and improve their balance skills.

Everyone in Pentland would like to wish you a happy and healthy Christmas and a good New Year. We look forward to seeing you all back in January.

Autumn term in Pentland class

We have been very busy in Pentland class this term. We have been learning all about the three little pigs and their adventures as well as making the most of the nice weather and enjoying some really messy play. We have done some cooking with mixed results although the chocolate mug cake went down well with everyone!
