We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Rights Respecting School Silver Award by UNICEF UK. This has been a great accomplishment given the continued COVID restrictions placed upon us all. Congratulations to all the pupils and staff involved, and a special thanks to Mrs Lowry for leading the project.
Our Primary transition visits has been running slightly differently to previous years. As a result of the continuing COVID restrictions each primary school has been coming up individually for their visit to St Andrew’s rather than the usual two day visits involving all schools. In normal times, we would hold an information evening for parents & carers and have P7 visits for the pupils. Unfortunately, due current restrictions this is unlikely to happen so after listening to some questions our P7’s and their families had, we have tried to answer as many as possible within this booklet.
