Weekly Update: 9th – 13th March
- Columba 1400
- Our S3 Columba 1400 pupils spoke to our cluster headteachers about their project and their plans to work with our Primary Schools. A very impressive presentation from the pupils with great feedback from the cluster headteachers.
- University Visit
- S4 pupils enjoyed a very informative day visiting Strathclyde University to experience student life & learn skills for forthcoming exams. Thanks to Angie & all the fab mentors from Focus West who worked with pupils in their widening access programme.
- World Book Day Competition
- To celebrate ‘World Book Day 2020’, the Library ran a competition. The winners were Bradley Moore 1C and Aaron Spalding 1F. Both selected a selection of books as their prizes plus an Easter Egg.
- Sports Leadership Academy
- A great start to the second block of primary placements for the NL Active Schools Sports Leadership Academy pupils. Fundamentals & Multi Sports after schools clubs are being delivered for primary pupils by our senior pupils.
- North Lanarkshire Cross Country
- The North Lanarkshire Cross Country Championships was postponed this week because of weather conditions, it has been rescheduled for Wednesday the 18th March.
