The Wind Ensemble is open to the most advanced brass, woodwind and percussion players within North Lanarkshire Schools.

The choice of repertoire chosen for the Ensemble can be challenging and very rewarding, so as a result of this fact, the pupils who play in the Wind Ensemble usually come from the senior stages of secondary school.

Rehearsals take place on a Friday after school from 4.15pm – 6.15pm in Coatbridge High School where the pupils work towards a Christmas Concert in Motherwell Concert Hall and a Spring concert held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
