2.  Music For All

Designed to bring pupils from mainstream and special needs sectors together, this project focused on using the medium of music  to create a performance that examined the qualities of the Happiness.

Music For All will be delivered in all of North Lanarkshire’s ASN schools during the school day. Many of the pupils involved will have a wide range of support needs which emcompass challenging social & emotional difficulties with mild to severe, profound and complex needs. Many pupils have sensory impairment and a wide spectrum of learning difficulties. The project will involve the pupils learning basic musical concepts, utilising music technology, along with hand drums and percussion to explore genres such as rock & pop. Each school will have contact with the ASN project on a weekly basis throughout the year.
