Maths Week

Hi Everyone.

We have had another busy but fun week in P1c. Its been Maths Week and we have had a great time using Maths in many aspects of our learning both indoor and outdoor. We had great fun in the quadrangle using our counting skills to count trees and windows and pots, we also enjoyed spotting lots of different shapes.

Our planning board activities this week were all Maths based. We created pictures and patterns using the Numicon shapes, we were cutting and sticking numbers in the correct order, constructing amazing models with the Kinnex, using play dough to make numbers and looking at lots of different types of Maths stories in our reading corner.

A lovely way to finish the week was going to Mass on Friday morning with the rest of the school community. It was the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, and we listened really well to the priest telling us all about St. Francis.

Thanks for reading our blog.
