What is Parents Portal?

Parentsportal.scot is a digital service to help replace the traditional school bag run by providing direct communication to parents and carers through a selection of online services.

What will you see in parentsportal.scot?

You will see basic information about your child(ren)’s school along with the online services detailed below:
  • annual data check
  • online payments
  • parent evening appointments
  • permission slips
  • reporting absence
  • viewing timetables (secondary schools)
  • pupil reports

As we introduce new online services, you may find that some new online services will not hold any information or do not appear to do anything. This is because we will be testing the services before we activate them in your child(ren)’s school. Your school will keep you informed when the new online services become available.
