On Tuesday Summerlee heritage visited us in school.  We looked at household items from the victorian era, it was really interesting.  We all got dressed up in victorian clothes which was funny.  We all enjoyed our afternoon.

Primary 6 had a fun afternoon at Airdrie Library. They met some oompa loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate factory and danced with them, the witch from The Witches and Matilda were there aswell. The children ate chocolates and listened to extracts from a few Roald Dahl stories. Some of the children are reading the novels in class.

We are now all P6 and we have a new teacher. Her name is Mrs Black, and she is very nice and we like her. But we are missing Miss Docherty loads but we get her for music every Monday which is good. Our new topic the Victorians and in my opinion its ok but the Rainforest is my favourite topic. Our novels are Santa Maria, The Deamon Headmaster and Saving Finnigan.

Oh my goodness! What beautiful weather we have been having over the past few days. I hope you are all enjoying our rare visit from the sun and will have lots of adventures to write about when you go back to school.
