This week, our spelling really was active! We attempted to spell out our words while doing different exercises in the playground.

We have moved seats and named our tables for the start of the second term.  We collect pebbles for positive behaviour throughout the week and the table with the most pebbles on a Friday will choose something from the prize box. Well done to ‘The Imposters’ for winning this week!

During our first week back we have also began our new topic World War 2.  We have learned how the war began, how it ended and that it lasted six years. We have also had much discussion about the fact that girls could not fight during the war.

We have started new reading books and are working in our reading groups. We will still have books allocated for homework on BugClub.

For numeracy we have been learning about negative numbers and drew number lines outside.
