This week, we have been finishing off our reading books so we all wrote a summary of the main events and said whether we would recommend the book. We have also been looking at inferring, which is where you have to find clues in the text to work out what is actually happening, even though you are not actually told.

During our outdoor play time this week, we have been doing circuits to improve stamina and fitness.

             

In Numeracy, we have been learning about factors and prime numbers and this has made us realise we really need to practise our tables!

         

We have been enjoying finding out more about our World War 2 topic this week. We learned a bit more about when the war started and how certain foods had to be rationed because of shortages. We compared our weekly menu with a wartime menu and decided it would be very difficult for us to do without our wee treats!

We had a great day to finish off the week doing Halloween activities in the class and out in the playground. We may have eaten a few too many sweets! Happy Halloween!
