Well, we made it to the end of Term 1! It has been a bit different but Mrs Sheikh and Mrs Gaw are very proud of how far everyone has come and we are all looking forward to seeing what we get up to in Term 2.

One of the highlights this Term has to be our study of the novel ‘Wonder’. This week we finished reading the book and a few of us had a wee tear in our eye (including Mrs Gaw) when Auggie finally got his standing ovation! We all completed a review of the book where we shared our favourite parts and lessons we have learned. We were all really excited as we got to watch the movie on Friday and enjoy some treats! It was very interesting to see who preferred the book or the movie.

In maths we have been multiplying decimals and also did a bit of symmetry for a wee change!

We all completed our own jotter audit this week where we had to complete a tick list saying what we thought we were doing well and what we needed to work on. It was a good reminder to us all to make sure our work is kept neat and tidy at all times!
