Welcome to the Design and Technology Department of Craigmarloch School.

As a department we ensure pupils are safe, happy and ready to learn of the role in which Design and Technology has on society and the changing world.

Our young people are encouraged to learn how to use tools and machinery safely, promoting independent and collaborative working, responsibility and confidence.

Courses offer challenging activities involving research, problem solving, exploration of unfamiliar concepts, skills and materials.

ICT in technology is used to transmit, store, create, display and share information by electronic means.

Pupils are encouraged to be independent, creative and meet solutions to real life needs and challenges by creating artefacts, models and displays through graphics.

As a department we are committed to promoting ecology and recycle/reuse materials in our projects where possible.
