Roots for Learning – Physical Skills

Part of our Roots for Learning Programme is Physical Skills.
We divide Physical Skills into four main areas:  Body Awareness, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills and Mobility.
Within Body Awareness, Gross Motor Skills and Mobility the children experience different things happening to their bodies. It is hoped the children become more ‘active’ participants and enjoy the movement of their bodies. The main aim is to ensure the children work towards moving their bodies voluntarily and with more control.
Here we are enjoying some Body Awareness, Gross Motor Skills and Mobility activities. 😃
