Social Subjects

We teach Social Subjects to enable our pupils to better understand how they fit into modern society, within a Scottish perspective.

Pupils work towards understanding how they can positively interact with, and make positive contributions to society in general.

Pupils also develop their enquiry skills, and gain an understanding of how our natural and built environment, our past, our present, and our future are interconnected.

We have the confidence to ask questions.

We are able to respect the views and opinions of others.

We are able to achieve a greater understanding of how society has developed, and is coordinated.

We understand the value of independent thought, and value independent learning.
