Science within the Craigmarloch Primary Department is a time for exploring, investigating and experimenting. We enjoy learning about the world around us and finding out how plants and animals live and grow. We have been so lucky to see chicks hatch from eggs and caterpillars become beautiful butterflies. Space is one of our favourite areas of science, we love to discover more about Planet Earth and The Solar System. We enjoy exploring the properties of different materials and substances. Science is a great opportunity for us to learn through our senses and enjoy multi-sensory play and activities.
