The past 3 weeks have flown past, as we have really got stuck into lots of new great learning. We have started a mini topic on healthy living, discussing all the ways and things we can do to keep ourselves fit and healthy. We looked at the healthy living plate and learnt about the different food groups: what they are, how they help our bodies and how much of them we should be eating daily. We have also looked at the importance of keeping ourselves clean, washing our hands regularly and keeping germs at bay.
In Maths we are working on multiplication and our times tables. We are also looking at data handling, interpreting information and creating different types of graphs to show information that we have collected from the class. So far we have done pictographs and bar graphs.
Star Writer this month went to Louie who has completed some amazing work in our new Writing scheme and today, Ari received a ‘United’ certificate for taking care of our classroom so well. Well done, boys!
Not long now until we go on our trip to Hampden so we have started learning about Scottish football and some players that might be considered good role models.
