In room 5 for the last few weeks we have been learning about data collection.

First we learned about Tally Marks, and then we learned about Bar Graphs. We learned that Bar Charts need labels and a Title. We also learned that they need an appropriate scale of numbers, and we need to label the bars.

We created a whole class ‘favourite colour’ bar chart using bean bags outside the class, it was massive! After that we have spent time really focusing on our skills using the rulers, and making sure our graph reads the same as the tally table.
