 Maths

In maths we have been measuring using centimetres. We went around the classroom measuring things with rulers. We made posters about all the different ways to measure. We had different stations set up to learn more about lengths. We also measured string at any length we wanted.

ICT

For ICT we have been working on coding using scratch and python. On scratch we have used coding to make animated actions. On python we made games. 

Art

For art we made 2026 drawings. For the first 2 we had two targets. For the second 2 we had two wishes. For the 6 we did six things we were looking forward to and we left the 0 blank. 

Literacy/Reading

 For literacy we are reading the Abominables. This book is about yetis going from country to country and having problems. We have been answering questions about this book.

Handwriting

For handwriting with Miss O’Brien we did printing writing which is not joining and no flicks on our letters. With Miss Higgins we joined our letters and made sure they’re the right size. 

Spelling

For spelling we have had words to do with affixes and suffixes.
